Description: NIC Configurator 2018

Similar to Group Policy in Windows, NIC Configurator allows you to set network adapter advanced settings across your Windows infrastructure based on optimization properties built into every computer network adapter such as Speed and Duplex, TCP Offloads, Jumbo Packet, and others.

The NIC Configurator client monitors network adapter connection status and these advanced properties to automatically ensure they always match your NIC policies, even if your network adapter selections spread across multiple computers and NIC brands.

When a network adapter setting does not match its NIC policy setting, and auto-configure is enabled, NIC Configurator will detect this non-compliant status and modify the network adapter properties to match the settings in your NIC policy. A notification is also sent via text and e-mail which shows the non-compliant computer, network adapter, and NIC properties. This is also displayed on the NIC Configurator Compliance Monitor screen.

NIC Configurator uses NIC policy to standardize network adapter advanced properties across hundreds or thousands of active directory computers.

About NIC Configurator 2018

As a first of its kind, NIC Configurator 2018 leads the way for a new and better method of maintaining and monitoring computer network adapter advanced properties throughout your corporate environment based on NIC policies that you create.

Imagine being able to always ensure that Jumbo Packets are enabled on all 10Gb network adapters in Windows storage servers and to be notified by text message if these settings are mistakenly modified by a system administrator. NIC Configurator 2018 will automatically detect this non-compliant behavior and then smartly remediate the network adapter advanced settings to match the values defined in your NIC policy.

NIC Configurator 2018 (c) 2018 was developed by Anthony E. Clegg of My Tek Support based on the original source code of his earlier copyright works titled Speedupe (c) 2010, Speedupe 2011 (c) 2011, Speedupe 2012 (c) 2012, and NIC Configurator 2013 (c) 2013.

Anthony E. Clegg has over 30 years experience working in Information Technology as a Windows Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, IT Manager, IT Consultant, Scripting Expert, and has administered thousands of computing resources such as Windows Servers, Desktops, and Laptops over this period.

This is a most complex software as it has utilized the Windows Management Instrumentation interface, Windows Registry, Powershell, and many complex algorithms that enable retrieval of information and modifying computers to provide NIC Policy across thousands of computers.

If you factor in all versions of this product going back to Speedupe in 2010 until now with NIC Configurator 2018, over a million lines of source code has been written to perfect this software.
