NIC Configurator 2013 was developed by Anthony E. Clegg, of My Tek Support, Inc., who has over 28 years of Information Technology experience (20 years in Windows networking) and currently holds a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Certification in Server Infrastructure (MCSE).
Compliled using Wilson Windoware's Winbatch, NIC Configurator 2013 and Schedule Verifier 2013 were built on the source code of the original version called Speedupe, which has been tested in the marketplace since March 2010 (Speedupe, Speedupe 2011, Speedupe 2012).
Speedupe was copyrighted in 2010 and offered management of Speed and Duplex settings on multiple active directory domain computers from a single console.
It was upgraded with new features and a new name (NIC Configurator 2013), to be more appropriate with its new functions. NIC Configurator 2013 lets Windows Administrators manage twenty three additional ethernet adapter performance settings on remote computers along with Speed and Duplex.
NIC Configurator 2013 took about two years to complete and is now available for a Free Trial or for purchasing. The interface look and feel has changed as well, to reflect the new features. I hope everyone enjoyes my new offering to improve performance on your networks.
